The Las Vegas entertainment market has locked in two major 2027 engagements that span different genres and venue types. Announcements made Thursday confirm new dates at Park MGM and Allegiant Stadium, adding to the city's lineup for the coming year.
LL Cool J will headline an 11-show residency titled "Rock the Bells" at Dolby Live, starting at 8 p.m. on May 15. The run continues on May 16, 19, 21, and 22, before returning in July for shows on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th, and 17th. The production is designed to trace the history of hip-hop from its origins in New York to its global status. Organizers plan to feature DJs, storytelling elements, and special guests whose names will be revealed in the coming weeks. LL Cool J, a 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and 2017 Kennedy Center Honor recipient, described the project as a collective effort rather than a solo performance.
Ticketing for the residency is already underway. Citi cardmembers can purchase presale tickets via Citi Entertainment starting at 10 a.m. today. Presales for artist fans, MGM Rewards members, and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. These early windows close at 10 p.m. Sunday, with general on-sale prices available at 10 a.m. Monday on ticketmaster.com.
Noah Kahan will play a single date at Allegiant Stadium on May 21 as part of his "The Last of the Bugs" World Tour. Live Nation identified the Las Vegas stop as part of a 31-date stadium run covering North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom. The news release characterized this as the singer's largest global headline tour to date. Kahan, who is a two-time Grammy nominee, released the album "The Great Divide" in May, which reached the top spot on the Billboard 200.
Fans who registered by 8:59 p.m. Thursday are eligible for an artist presale at noon on Nov. 10. A separate presale for eligible U.S. Spotify Premium subscribers begins at 9 a.m. on Nov. 11. General tickets go on sale at noon on Nov. 12. Ticketmaster will require resales of tickets purchased through its platform to occur on its site at face value.
A third announcement involves comedian Des Bishop, who will perform his Grey Area Tour at the Palazzo Theatre at the Venetian on April 24, 2027. Doors open for the 10 p.m. show, with tickets available from 10 a.m. Friday. Bishop, a New Yorker who moved to Ireland in 1990, has released seven stand-up specials, with his latest, "Bridge and Tunnel," available on Hulu.
